Cleaning and Maintenance

Disinfection

• Neutral solutions: Use specific disinfectant solutions, only neutral with pH 7, and follow concentration and exposure times according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ultrasonic bath: Can be used to clean the bur.

Sterilization

• Autoclave: Max 134°C, use distilled water for best results.
• Dry sterilization: Max 180°C.
• Important: Do not exceed recommended temperatures, as this can weaken or discolor the bur. Allow the bur to cool and dry completely after sterilization.
• Check for damage: Ensure the bur is intact before sterilization.
